Background:
I wanted to build an app that would help users organize their clothing. Compared to other existing apps that would take hours to upload pictures of your existing wardrobe, Fits had an existing library of basics that could be used. Furthermore, a custom trained machine learning vision model, would identify items through the camera and suggest either the exact piece or a similar one, with a professional photo which produced better "lay-flat" outfit collages.

Furthermore, a custom trained machine learning vision model, would identify items through the camera and suggest either the exact piece or a similar one, with a professional photo which produced better "lay-flat" outfit collages.
Users could then create outfits by grouping multiple items on a canvas, then schedule when to wear them using the calendar function. Using algorithms based on colour theory, the weather, layering and type of clothing, the app would suggest items either from your existing closet or items available for purchase to complete the perfect look. This project was abandoned during early stages of development.
